Please consider this proposed amendment to Bill 83 adding a new Section 3 establishing the Maui Living ʻĀina Stabilization Trust Authority within the Department of Environmental Management authorizing receipt and coordinated administration of philanthropic, intergovernmental, nonprofit, and other external lawful funds for interconnected living life support system stabilization purposes, while preserving full Council budget authority and creating no County tax, debt, guarantee, or unfunded liability.
This amendment is designed to be ready for introduction and passage in real time today, perhaps after a brief recess to review the proposed amendment.
