I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for services i received from the Habilitat brush of kindness program.
My name is Deanna Kaimikaua, I live on Hawaiian Homestead land on the island of Molokai. I am 86 years of age, a widow and live in an older home with much needed repairs.
In Dec 2024, 2 young men from Habilitat installed a much needed new shower and repainted my bathroom. They also installed a new screen door. I also had a crack in my living room ceiling and they repaired it and painted the ceiling.
In Jan 2025 I had gone to Oahu and had surgery done which I was hospitalized for 4 days, the end of this month I am scheduled to have a hip replacement. I am grateful for my shower the will make it easier for me to get in/out.
I am so grateful for the services that was rendered on my behalf. I really appreciate it
