WAI-20 Reso 24-47 RESOLUTION 24-47, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A WATER SOURCE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH FREE MARKET VENTURES, LLC., PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.01 MAUI COUNTY CODE (WAI-20)
The Kula Community Association Board has voted to support increasing the water supply to upcountry as proposed by Resolution 24-47, with the understanding the primary focus of the water supply increase being to address the Upcountry Water Meter List. We have serious concerns regarding the overall cost of the proposed contract and support appropriately minimizing the cost through the proposed contract.
The Kula Community Association Board also requests that Maui County administration make efforts as part of negotiating the contract to have the Von Tempsky (Kula) Community Center land transferred to the County of Maui either by donation or purchase.
