Please allow Hana Arts to renew their lease and permit for the Hana Art Barn. I was fortunate enough to teach a series of free yoga classes before Covid at the art barn and it was wonderful witness the community coming together and the friendships that were formed thru these regular classes. I am currently serving on the Hana Arts Board and know how important and impactful the Art Barn is to the many programs Hana Arts offers our community. Please support the Hana Arts programs which enhance our community by renewing our lease and extended permit with the Art Barn.

Aloha, I am writing in support of continued permit renewal and lease renewal for Hana Art Barn under the name of Hana Arts. My name is Shari Berman and I am the program manager of Hana Arts. I also teach yoga at the Art Barn. After the last few years of covid and the fires, it is extremely apparent that we are all struggling and need physical and emotional support. My classes as well as all the others at the Art Barn have given our community an outlet of self care and healing though the arts. This is part of what will make our community grow and strengthen. Please help us keep the Art Barn open as a place to gather and explore the arts. Mahalo.
I am writing in support of continued permit renewal and lease renewal for Hana Art Barn under the name of Hana Arts. This facility is separate from the rest of the old Hana School and is used regularly to serve the people of Hana in positive and impactful ways. It currently is facility for yoga classes that are well attended 5 days a week, juijitsu and other art supported activities. We would love to reopen our community ceramics program which was very successful and loved by so many. This program changes lives. The heavy equipment and amount of equipment needed to run this program require a long term lease. Please help keep our Hana Art Barn open and operating for the good of our community.
Our Hana arts barn is a very important building for our Hana community.
Yoga has been my life and it’s our place of practice, a sacred space of coming together for so many people to learn, breathe and love movement. We thank you for your consideration of allowing us to remain at the art barn and continue to bring the Hana community art, dance, yoga, martial arts, music, kids activities to all. We are so thankful for the years of use and are delighted to see how many people have been able to grow in their practices. We hope you allow the magic to continue at our beloved Art barn.

My name is Blessing Hancock, I'm a resident of Hana and Treasure of Hana Arts. Please consider granting Hana Arts an extended permit to occupy Hana Community Center (ie The Arts Barn). This is a key facility for the small community of Hana and is fully occupied on a daily basis. We currently host a wide variety of community classes in this building and it would be of great detriment to our thriving local arts community to restrict access.
