My name is Lorrie Betsill Nielson and I have these questions!
1) When will Bill 86 be voted on?
2) It was mentioned that the standards for the alternate entry will be identical to the government program. That being said, when and where will this information be posted?
3) Once the government agencies have approved the clean up in order for re-build to begin, HOW LONG will the permit take to begin building? Can it be 5 business days as opposed to 5 months or 5 years? We need expedited processes.
4) Lastly, who will issue the permits? What committee or government organization?
Aloha good morning Council members and staff.
Please pass Bill 86 on 1st reading. We all need to expedite every process possible to help rebuild the homes and lives of our many families and friends that lost everything in the fires on 8/8. We must not act like it’s business as usual around our Country departments. We all need to step up with long hours, and not have others lose faith and give up.
The federal agencies are here ready to work, their crews are ready to go, are we?
Please at least move on the Upcountry lots they are ready now to move forward. Pass this Bill today.
