I congratulate Paul Cheng for addressing the public needs for low cost housing. With the County of Maui, Paul has worked out a plan that he gets $300,000 per unit and he gives the residents of Maui County homes that they can buy at $117k to $383K. Every developer should look at this project and emulate it because deals favorable to our residents and providing an adequate profit for the developer are what we need to keep our residents from leaving Maui for reasonalbe priced housing. I urge the entire Council to approve Bill 152.
