Please look at making part of the proposed increase in homeowners exemptions for a fund for infrastructure changes necessary dueto sea level rise. Also, please look at changing the Disabled Veteran's exemption from 100% to 70%, as the 100% is very difficult to reach, whereas a 70% disabled veteran is severely disabled, with roadside bombing (IED), loss of limb, severe PTSD, etc at this level is very difficult to live with. It would cost very little to the county, yet allow real alleviating of stress for severely disabled veterans. Mahalo.
