If the source of water is from their private well, what is the daily capacity of it. What is the sustainability? Also, where and how would they use R-1 water? Does it abide by health code?

The Board of Directors of Stand Up Maui supports Resolution 22-51, the Public Private Partnership between the County of Maui, State of Hawaii and Waikapu Country Town. Our history with Mike Atherton has always been very good because he encouraged and implemented our ideas to improve his development in the interests of the people of Maui. We believe that this type of partnership - government providing the infrastrucutre and developer providing affordable homes - can be the new way to build affordable homes for the people in Maui County. Make this happen now. Stan Franco, President of Stand Up Maui

The Waikapu Country Town Project did a lot of outreach to the community to meet the concerns of residents of the community. It will also help to address the massive housing shortage for local residents. I support doing what is necessary to move this project forward.
