    What of posted speed limits? Drivers must exceed speed limits when attempting to overtake cyclists. In attempting to overtake cyclists, unnecessary risks like passing with limited distance visibility are taken. This poses legitimate dangers to public safety for everyone using Maui roadways. Safety for all roadway users should be prioritized over the perceived inconvenience of a few drivers.
