    Aloha Chair Molina and Members of the Great Committee:

    Tina (Pedro) Gomes

    I have known Tina for 2 years as a friend but it seems like I’ve known her a lifetime. That only happens when Honesty and Aloha are part of your DNA. I can vouch for Tina, and say that she has been a person of morals and integrity over the time we have known each other.

    I can further state that Tina has been immensely dedicated to her family and work, and a loving person towards friends as well.

    Tina is known to be helpful and charitable, and is a much-loved person by all.

    Tina’s resume speaks for itself. She is obviously more than qualified for the appointment to the Maui Police Commission as she has been there before. I appreciate Mayor Victorino’s decision to appoint Tina (Pedro) Gomes for this position and I humbly ask you, the Great Committee to confirm the Mayor’s appointment
