I am a Wailuku resident in objection to this proposal moving forward without additional opportunities for public review and comment. I request no action at this time and prefer it be filed. While the proposal has gone before the Maui Planning Commission, 7 attendees during a meeting held (I believe) where limited public attendance can be expected shouldn't be considered fair representation of the impacted community. Additionally, the proposal seeks to allow for any potential hotel of 20 rooms to secure a "Maui Redevelopment Agency use permit" which raises questions that need examination since it returns authority to the MRA. Authority that many are questioning. Thank you, Mahina Martin 385-1221 mahinamartin@gmail.com
