Lower Paia Beach Park lost over 1,000 lineal feet of parking September 2020. The beach parking lot is going to be paved and reconfigured which will further reduce beach parking by about 15 stalls. This change in the parking situation should be considered in the plan as it was not anticipated when the plan was made. Since the street parking was removed, I have not been able to get a beach parking stall after work (5:00 pm) when the surf is up. Please address the lack of surfer/body board parking. Thank you.
