Thank you for expediting this administrative requirement to get life saving staff back on Mākena Beach. Big Beach is one of the most popular visitor destinations in the state and one of the most dangerous. Accidents at Mākena's shore break are often fatalities. When they aren't fatal, they are life altering. Having lifeguards present helps prevent these injuries, not just respond to them.
