Maui Hub is a gift to our community and a response to unprecedented time. We lost work during covid and weren't eligible for UI or PUA. We had to enter the SNAP program for the time being. Maui Hub working to accept SNAP have helped my family eat more local food, meal plan and support healthy decisions. Maui Hub has the foresight and skills necessary to benefit the community and I think supporting their future endeavors and ideas would be beneficial to the entire of Maui County. We need to focus on making Maui stronger as its own unit and Maui Hub will support that, without doubt.
